"65% of surveyed exhibitors expressed a positive opinion about this unique event”- said Gian Paolo Pinton CEO Trascomexpo - “It’s important to have realized the first edition in Italy and Rome is going to be the most suitable location for next editions. For the future, we aim to further characterize the fair by strengthening the relationships with airports. Our goal is also to expose aircrafts and Made in Italy products and technologies, which are the most advanced in the world”. According to Domenico Silvestri, President of the Scientific Committee, "the visitors were very satisfied and the conferences went very well. Most of the participants valued the fair as a seed capable of an important development". Also Roberto Bosi, the President of Fiera di Roma is satisfied: "this first edition of IAE confirms that Aerospace, Aviation and Defence sectors, excellence of Made in Italy, needed a professional event specifically dedicated to them. Fiera Roma has all the potential to become the appointment expected by qualified operators”.
Another strength of this first edition has been the high quality of conferences, attended by experts known at international level. General Pietro Finocchio, Vice-Chairman of the Scientific Committee, expressed his satisfaction and underlined the relevant presence of important authorities such as the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Camporini. The start up challenge of the event – he said – concluded successfully in spite of many difficulties".
